Who Is Shantal Bailey?
Shantal focuses mainly on land matters such as representing persons who are either selling or purchasing properties as well as making various applications to the National Land Agency including but not limited to Applications for First Registration of Title, Vesting Orders, Transfer of Land, just to name a few.
In her early legal career Shantal was an Associate at Archer Cummings & Company, Attorneys-at-Law where she represented clients at every level of the court system. She was also an Associate at Bignall Law, Attorneys-at-Law and is now a Legal Officer with the National Works Agency. Over the course of her legal career Shantal has been exposed to a wide gamut of legal genres including but not limited to Civil, Criminal, Commercial and Conveyancing Law and Litigation.
Shantal obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) with Honours from the University of the West Indies. She acquired her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School and was admitted to practice in 2015. Shantal has always been actively involved in leadership roles in her community. At her Alma Mata, Titchfield High School, she was Deputy Head Girl, Captain of the Debate Team and President of the Peer Counseling Society. During University, this Seacolite was a member of the Table Tennis Team (Mona & Cavehill), Cultural and Entertainment Affairs Chairperson for the Frank Worrel Hall and Cultural and Educational Affairs Chairperson for the Jamaican Association of Students At Cavehill.
